Sheletta Brundidge, a Cottage Grove mom and local radio personality, will be appearing on a national talk show Friday.
Brundidge and 14-year-old son Andrew will be among the guests on The Tamron Hall Show, airing 11 a.m. on KSTC, channel 45.
Brundidge said her part of the show was taped Thursday in a Zoom call.
The theme of Friday’s show is teenage stress in the time of the pandemic. “It was all about relationships, and how to communicate,” said Brundidge.
She said she would never have made the appearance without help from an anonymous fan.
When the show’s producers recently Tweeted that they were looking for guests, the mystery fan Tweeted back, recommending Brundidge.
Brundidge and Andrew have a podcast of their own — “Mommy & Me: Navigating the Teen Years Together,” an audio talk show for teens and parents.
Brundidge has never met the fan, and only knows her first name and home town.
“Wendy from Stillwater,” she said, “bless your heart.”
